Pottery by Mary Tremayne
Using an airbrush and coloured porcelain slips and underglazes, I build up multiple layers of colour on each stoneware pot. The pots are then high fired sometimes 3 to 4 times. On some containers, I have added wood or branches, thread, wire or beads, and gold or silver lustre, enhancing each idea. For my functional stoneware I have developed several glazes. One of my more popular glazes is "Birchwood Ash Blue" glaze. I make dinner sets by commission.

Functional Designs are Oven, Microwave, and Dishwasher Safe.
